ENDING YOUTH HOMELESSNESS 〰️
Our Mission
The Cove is a nonprofit designed to provide a safe space for youth experiencing homelessness to access the resources they need to thrive.
Roughly 700 young people are experiencing homelessness in the Heart of Texas region. The Cove provides support to teenagers, ages 14-18 who are living through housing instabilities — with a focus on McLennan County. Since The Cove opened in 2016, over 420 teenagers have received support at The Cove. Click the button below to learn more about what we do.
Are you or someone you may know in need of finding a stable, safe place to stay? Contact our Youth Services team at (254) 207-0789 or click the button below.
Based on the McKinney-Vento definition of “homeless children and youths”, youth homelessness “means individuals who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence.” Just because a teenager may have a place to stay tonight, doesn’t mean it’s a safe place to live.
GET INVOLVED TODAY!
In 2021, for youth ages 18+, The Cove paid for 1,189 nights of emergency housing, totaling over $50,000 spent on hotels.
Nearly 40% of our financial support comes from people like YOU.
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT TO END YOUTH HOMELESSNESS!

MAKE AN IMPACT TODAY!
When you make a financial contribution to The Cove, your donation allows us to provide a safe space for young people to develop a personal pathway to increase their housing stability, educational attainment, and connectedness. The Cove is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that relies on charitable donations to continue providing the resources young people need to thrive. The Cove remains open to serve some of our community’s most vulnerable citizens because of people like you!
